Helpful tips for Ecumenical Officers
Before you even start navigating, notice the most useful search box at the very top right hand corner of the screen.
If you are new to the website, the first thing you might wish to do is sign up for the CT E-news which is put on our website around the middle of every month. To do this, please click on news and events in the menu at the top of the web-pages, go to the CT E-news link and sign up for the newsletter.
After that, have a look at the local ecumenism pages, under our work as these will be particularly relevant to you. The first sub-link here in the menu on the left of the page, cities and counties contains a list of the Ecumenical Officers serving the Intermediate Bodies in England. Find your Ecumenical Officer and make contact.
Another key set of web-pages are those under Ecumenical Notes, a few items below the cities and counties link. The best way to get the latest version is to download them from the website but if you want the whole collection from scratch, it is available as a hard copy or electronically on a CD-ROM. Practically everything you might want to know about the job of an Ecumenical Officer, and a lot more beside, can be found here. If you want a CD-ROM or a hard copy, navigate to the resources and shop section of our website – look at the menu at the top of the pages and click publications. You can order all our publications here. While you are in this bit of the website, look at the free leaflets too.
The next sublink down is the Ecumenical Officers' area which may be how you found these helpful tips in the first place. Here you will find some useful information including a link to our training course for new Ecumenical Officers which is strongly recommended. You can book online and/or download a flyer for the course.
Enjoy the website!
