Where it all happens

As well as meetings of national and local Church leaders in England, to encourage and support local ecumenism the Churches come together at county or metropolitan level. These bodies, between the local and the national, are called Intermediate Bodies. Click here for more information.

At local level, Churches come together in many ways, often as Churches Together Groups and sometimes more specifically in Local Ecumenical Partnerships.

The Co-ordinating Group for Local Unity supports both local and intermediate ecumenism.
