TANTUR ECUMENICAL INSTITUTE, JERUSALEM
Having had the privilege of participating in a Study Tour of the Holy Land organised by the British Trust for Tantur, I am glad to draw the attention of CTE website readers to the Tantur Ecumenical Institute.
The international ecumenical institute for theological and pastoral studies was opened in Tantur, Jerusalem, in 1971. An international ecumenical board oversees it. The Rector is Revd Michael McGarry CSP. Here in the UK the British Trust for Tantur seeks to support and promote the Institute and makes grants to help people to participate in courses and programmes.
Naturally, the best place to go for full details is the Tantur website itself, which offers information about scholars' programmes, three month continuing education / spiritual renewal programmes and three, four or six week courses at Christmas, Easter, Spring and Summer.
It is of course possible to negotiate with the Institute to arrange shorter visits for groups.

I pray that many will have this kind of opportunity and blessing.
For information regarding grants, contact the Treasurer to the British Trust for Tantur,
Mr Michael Brecknell, Flat 72, 8 New Crane Place, London E1W 3TX.
