Equalities

The Equalities and Human Rights Commission is up and running. The Religion and Belief Consultative Group, while no longer having a formal role in its development, will continue to monitor the Commission's work in relation to religion and belief, as it is considered experience in this area is not as strong as in others.

Work on the Discrimination Law Review and a Single Equalities Bill continue.
