The Coordinating Group for Youth Work of Churches Together in England brings together a wide variety of Christian youth work agencies and youth departments from the various Churches. Our remit is to provide the opportunity for linking, learning and leverage. In practice this means that we are an inclusive group, networking across the whole of the Christian youth work community; we provide opportunities to learn from each other and share innovation and best practice; and when perceived as necessary, we aim to raise the voice and concerns of both young people and those who work with them at a national level. For example, we are working hard at ensuring that Minority groups, such as the Coptic Orthodox Church, can play a full part in developing the work of Churches Together in , alongside agencies such as Worth Unlimited, which works with some of the most disadvantaged young people.
