774483wearetheworld  Sharing the Gospel of Salvation

This excellent new report from the Church of England explores how necessary it is to give witness to and speak appropriately about the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the world today.

It gives important background to the history and experience of mission of the English church, and its relationship to religions in England.  It offers examples of good practice in the context of a society with many faiths, but where many people have little or no faith. The shadow side of some evangelistic endeavours is recognised and a 'marketing' mentality is warned against. There are reflections on the lived experience of Christians and parish communities around the country.
